A Community Connection Guide For Older Adults
Social distancing during the pandemic has resulted in many older adults feeling isolated. Riley Trainor, a pre-med intern at Moon River Senior Care and Transportation, has creatively developed a “Community Connection” resource guide to keep seniors engaged. It’s a great free resource for Moon River clients and any older adult who is interested in learning how to do virtual calls with family and friends, singing along to music playlists, going on virtual tours, playing games, exercising from home, and more! New test for Alzheimer’s to begin trial
This clinical trial will study if a simple retinal exam can provide early detection of Alzheimer’s. Hopefully, the next groundbreaking study will show us how to stop the progression. Continue reading
